Description
An associate broker in Private Equity & Transactional Solutions (“PE&TS”) cyber team manages the day-to-day servicing of accounts working in conjunction with other brokers; develops business relationships with producers and internal resources; negotiates with underwriters regarding coverage terms, conditions and pricing on new and renewal accounts; prepares quotes, cover notes and worksheets; supports new business opportunities; and verifies accuracy of insurance documentation.

The Role
- Support a book of business by performing day to day client service tasks
- Responsibility for creation and design of renewal strategy documents for client presentations focusing on the design, marketing and placement of cyber insurance programs
- Analysis and reporting on the risk profiles of client’s unique finance, regulatory, and legal exposures
- Facilitate communication between broker teams and underwriters during client renewal cycles
- Provide support for new business opportunities including expanding relationships with current clients, participating in the preparation and response for Requests for Proposals, and general prospecting support
- Support, present and further develop cyber analytical tools
- Participate and lead client meetings including Renewal Strategy Presentations, Underwriter Meetings, Renewal Update Conference Calls and Post-Renewal Reviews
- Develop relationships with Producers, Client Advocates and Client Relationship Directors
- Be proficient in Willis Towers Watson compliance and best practices
- Regularly utilize Willis Towers Watson tools and resources
- Prepares draft proposals, submissions and quotes
- Follows up with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding the status of quotes and provides any additional information or rates as necessary
- Maintains business relationships with producers and underwriters
- Maintains knowledge of insurance carriers and their business practices
- Responsibly represent Willis Towers Watson as a colleague within the PE&TS group
Qualifications
The Requirements
- 1-3 Years of Professional Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity to learn and become proficient in financial lines insurance products
- Ability to work productively and collaboratively in a team setting
- Solid presentation skills – written and oral
- Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles & provide explanation to clients
- Ability to conduct research
- Understanding of required placement workflows
- Ability to deal with difficult client situations
- Demonstrates knowledge of insurance structures
- Insurance Broker’s P&C License Preferred
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000-$100,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
