Purpose of the role
To develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies for the bank's internal operations, ensuring alignment with overall corporate sustainability goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Accountabilities
- Development and maintenance of a long-term sustainability strategy for internal operations, aligned with the bank's overall sustainability goals and strategic priorities.
- Management of the implementation of sustainability initiatives across all internal operations departments, including facilities management, procurement, IT, travel, and employee engagement.
- Development and implementation of a robust system for measuring and reporting on the environmental, social, and economic performance of the bank's internal operations.
- Analysis of sustainability data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identification and assessment of sustainability risks associated with the bank's internal operations and develop mitigation strategies.
