We have an exciting opportunity for Manager, Managed Accounts Operations in the Managed Accounts Department in Chicago, IL! (hybrid)
What You’ll Do
As a Manager, Managed Accounts Operations, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee and manage all day-to-day operating processes for the Separately Managed Accounts (SMA). The Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the processes of the Operations Specialists staff and the Operations Analysts staff and will ensure that all controls and procedures maintain the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data required by the business on the recordkeeping systems utilized. Daily interactions with Investment Management professionals and trading as well as external clients and vendors/ service providers regarding operation data and reconciliations, systems functionality, and client service and reporting inquiries and requests is required.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or a comparable combination of education and professional and/or military experience may be considered. Bachelor’s degree in business related major (Finance/Accounting/Business) preferred.
- Five years of operational experience in managed accounts; experience with settlements required; operational management and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with trade processing, settlement and reconciliation required.
- Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word)
- Experience with fixed income securities, sponsor systems financial services software (Advent InvestorTools, or equivalent) preferred.
