Job Summary:
The Director, Wealth Distribution Strategist is a critical role within US Wealth leadership to optimize sales and distribution and effectiveness and execution. The Director, Distribution Strategist will be responsible for helping scale Cohen & Steers business, drive operational efficiency and execute on strategic growth plans. They will partner with the leadership team to align daily operations with business goals and key growth initiatives.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue goals at the overall business, channel and territory levels.
- Extend distribution reach and focus with client segmentation strategy.
- Create a distribution campaign and initiative framework to balance core sales efforts with strategic growth initiatives and tactical opportunities.
- Build the distribution infrastructure to support multiple growth initiatives: core business, RIAs, ETFs, SMAs, private real estate, etc.
- Manage sales reporting and KPIs with sales enablement to provide transparency and accountability.
- Manage performance metrics, monitoring, and improvement plans for sales teams.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies to maximize budget and partnerships.
- Balance strategic and tactical demands on distribution team to maintain focus and minimize inefficiencies.
- Lead internal and external presentations to drive business initiatives.
- Partner with finance on compensation, reporting, process and alignment with business objectives.
- Align training, regular sales team communications, and supporting materials to drive sales effectiveness.
- Provide sales management with the tools and reporting necessary to drive channel and territory performance.
- Design data-driven sales campaigns – both evergreen and episodic.
- Partner with sales leadership team on talent management: training, recruiting, communication, sales meetings, compensation, career development.
- Optimize sales leadership processes to allow for external client and sales team focus (vs internal).
Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years in a sales organization in Asset or Wealth Management; must have familiarity with key distribution channels.
- Strategic operator that can design execution plans and work across the organization to achieve results.
- Analytical, technical, and data skills necessary to design plans in partnership with sales, finance, product, operations, etc.
- Highly motivated, positive thinker that can "get things done".
- Ability to "see the forest for the trees" and cut through noise to make a strategic impact.
- Earns respect and partnership of sales leadership team.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Expert in PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc. skills to build presentations and plans.
- Desire to "wear a lot of hats" and be highly involved in a fast-paced environment.
