Position Summary:
Grayscale is seeking an Analyst, Private Fund Sales, to support our growing sales and distribution effort, with a focus and passion for supporting our clients. The successful candidate will need to be an effective communicator, organized, collaborative, and methodical and process oriented. Professionalism and integrity are paramount as the candidate will be consistently liaising with prospective investors and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Field inbound calls/emails from prospective investors regarding our suite of investment products.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm’s private products and investment capabilities and stay current on developments in the digital currency ecosystem.
- Provide on-going support to clients and prospects, answering a wide variety of questions in a timely and accurate manner, with the goal of ensuring overall client satisfaction and new investments.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests from investors and prospects.
- Send marketing materials, offering and subscription documents to facilitate new investments.
- Assist with onboarding and investment process in collaboration with Operations leveraging our online investment portal.
- Proactive outreach and relationship management with investors.
- Lead special projects to enhance current marketing materials and processes and the quality of responses to clients and prospects.
- Provide support to the Distribution team in their ongoing client management and fundraising efforts.
Prior Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievement.
- 1-3 years of Investor Relations, fund marketing, or financial product sales experience with strong customer service mentality.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Deadline oriented with the ability to assess and prioritize projects based on client needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Interest in and willingness to learn digital currencies and assets, blockchain technology, and related concepts (preferred).
- Understanding of, and willingness to learn about, capital markets and different product structures.
- Ability to work effectively on a team – someone who is collaborative, flexible and adaptable, reliable with a strong ‘can do attitude.’
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel and Word skills required; Salesforce is a strong plus.
- Series 7 required, Series 63 preferred.
