Central Regional Hospital
We are currently recruiting for a Speech and Language Pathologist at Central Regional Hospital (CRH) on the Medical Services/Speech and Hearing Unit. Therapists with both pediatric/school and adult experience are welcomed to apply.
This position provides diagnostic screening/evaluation and treatment for children, adults and geriatric patients who are identified as having a speech, language and/or swallowing impairment. Other duties include attending treatment team meetings and IEP conferences, developing and executing existing IEPs, providing staff education for the purposes of preventing, improving, or modifying patient care, completing required documentation in timely manner, and conducting informal swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies.
The normal work hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday however flexibility is required to meet hospital needs. This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.
As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $64,211 - $105,949.

Knowledge of communication disorders, including autism, aphasia, literacy, augmentative communication, and dysphagia with skill in application of techniques and procedures.
Ability to administer and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
Ability to formulate, interpret and implement therapeutic treatment programs.
Effective interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary cooperation and interaction with medical providers, psychiatrist, and nursing staff, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to accept responsibility and take on new challenges.
