As a recognized leader in providing Private Markets Solutions to clients across the globe we manage approximately $124.6 billion in discretionary assets and have oversight of an additional $796.2 in non-discretionary assets as of March 31, 2024.
The Opportunity:
As a member of the Fund Investment and Managed Solutions Team, you will assist in providing support to Hamilton Lane’s clients and support business development aspects related to the management of our LatAm prospect relationships. Fluency in Spanish is required.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Work directly with Regional Business Managers on various client support and investment product development tasks
- Learn and maintain a working knowledge of HL technology tools to aggregate and present information needed for client deliverables including:
- Client portfolio modeling, transactions, portfolio construction, and revenue modeling
- Act as internal support for various sales and client related activities including:
- Maintaining sales activities and new business pipeline in Dealcloud
- Managing the coordination efforts for presentations and meetings with prospective and clients
- Assisting in the creation of presentation materials
- Monitor periodicals to identify published searches for new business opportunities
- Assist in the reading, editing, and submitting of RFPs
- Work directly with other representatives throughout the firm to ensure superior level of client service
- Other sales-related projects as necessary
Your background and skills will include:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years’ postgraduate experience in finance, preferably in private markets
- English and Spanish speaker
- Good understanding of capital structures, different financial instruments and basic portfolio construction preferable
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills (data analysis, numerical skills, problem solving etc.)
- Basic modeling skills preferable
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and receive feedback
- Desire to work as part of a team with a strong focus on client needs
- Excellent communication and listening abilities
- Organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects effectively and on-time
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Resourcefulness; ability to navigate ambiguity
