Linedata is seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team in Boston. In this role, you will work closely with the Asset Management sales team and the marketing department to implement business development initiatives and develop a prospecting plan to maximize market outreach and ultimately generate a pipeline. The successful candidate is an organized multi-tasker who can handle many diverse projects at once and meet fast deadlines. In addition to having 2-4 years of marketing experience preferably in the software arena, the ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies revenue opportunities within the investment community through communications, programs, and other activities as needed
- Assist with the lead generation process by acquiring background and contact info for target accounts
- Develop and communicate effective business and action plans to address opportunities
- Prospect for the North American sales team via e-mail communications and other direct marketing methods
- Consistently log and record outreach made and produce regular activity reports as requested
- Develop and maintain potential and existing new business opportunities in CRM application
- Act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales. Be cognizant of each marketing initiative and work toward corporate objectives
- Support the marketing team in content creation, email creation, journey creation, and analysis
- Support customer events in North America and Asia
- Tradeshows, travel required
- Monitor and distribute inbound leads to appropriate sales team
- Create and manage purchase orders for marketing activities and track budget
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills And Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing
- Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Basic knowledge of the financial services industry
- Ability to create compelling content and simplify messages to deliver meaningful content to different audiences
- Looking to be a part of a successful marketing and/or sales team
- Ability to comprehend Linedata’s product suite and communicate our value proposition to prospects
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally
- Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
