The U.S. Real Estate Finance team is looking for an analyst who will work with a team of Investment Officers in support of the origination of commercial real estate loans in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The analyst will review investment submissions, prepare preliminary investment analysis, and communicate the viability of each investment opportunity. The ability to make effective written and verbal presentations is required. Knowledge of real estate documentation, (i.e. mortgages, leases, operating agreements, etc.) is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Analyze and underwrite commercial real estate for potential mortgage loan investment on a range of property types
Interact with commercial real estate brokers and industry specialists to gather information
Prepare written approval documentation
Collect & review due diligence materials in support of loan requests
Travel is typically limited to larger cities in the Mid-Atlantic
Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree or ongoing advanced study in business, economics, finance, urban planning or real estate is a plus
1 - 3 years experience in commercial real estate lending, real estate investment, or real estate law is a plus
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills required
Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment is necessary
Team orientated
Strong organization and communication skills
Proficient computer skills including excel and word
Marketing experience or education is a plus

Salary range is expected to be between
$71,550.00 USD - $119,250.00 USD
