Why this role is important to us
SimCorp is looking for a senior leader of the Professional Services in the Americas, responsible for a 100+ team that has the potential to double over the next 3 years.
SimCorp’s America presence is one of the major growth markets for SimCorp globally.This leader will be responsible for the P&L of this business line, lead commercial discussions for services, together with the Customer Success and Sales teams, to create and maintain a continually growing professional services business. This role will also have the responsibility of developing a team of Directors to contribute to the growth of the Americas, who will also need to effectively develop their own teams of consultants. Additionally, there will be oversight of implementation project deliveries across the region.This role is part of a Global Professional Services Management Team, driving global impact and collaboration across regions.
What you will be responsible for
- Build the business with new and existing clients together with the Customer Success, Sales and Managed Services teams within the region.
- Lead pre and post sales discussions, presenting key implementation methodology and best practices.
- Develop, implement and maintain profitable consulting services across the region.
- Deliver on financial and operational KPIs.
- Contribute to global initiatives to improve efficiency and grow services revenue.
- Facilitate new implementations, ensuring the teams can meet project deliverables on time, on scope and within budget.
- Overall accountability for all regional consulting engagements including quality of project documentation e.g. Statements of Work.
- Serve as the primary contact point for the Global Delivery Excellence function.
- Work with the Advanced Delivery Centre building teams within the central and south-Americas to ensure a 1st class delivery capability is delivered to clients across the Americas.
People Development and Management
- Recruit, retain and develop key talent across the region together with your senior management team.
- Set clear direction, coach, mentor and provide career guidance to your management team
- Build and manage resourcing and utilization targets according to local market needs
Strategy Development and Execution
- In collaboration with the full regional North America Senior Management Team
- Drive and develop the PS strategy within the NA region including supporting the build and development of our PS in Mexico City, part of our Global ADC.
- Being part of the regional management team in the Americas; championing client leadership ensuring we deliver the value to clients promised.
What we value
- 15+ years of relevant experience leading a team delivering projects within a financial institution, or a consulting company working in financial markets or a software and services vendor.
- Significant commercial focus and ability to shape opportunities thatbenefitSimCorp as well as clients.
- Experienced in leading a consulting practice including having both business and fiscal / P&L responsibilities.
- Proficient in people management and leadership.
- Ability to balance costs, quality and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work in person fromSimCorp's NYC office 3 days per week.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $228,720.00 - $343,080.00 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
