The Role:
Within our International Private Wealth management business, we are seeking a strong, dynamic investor relations/sales support professional to help drive the continued growth of Blue Owl’s Private Wealth business in APAC. Broad responsibilities include managing existing client relationships, providing excellent client service, building new client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities with the largest banks and wealth management firms in the region.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior sales professionals in the team to provide day-to-day support in managing existing client relationships and building new relationships with prospective clients, including but not limited to, due diligence and onboarding processes, events and marketing activities, distribution and client engagement activities, ongoing servicing support and stakeholder management
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other functional teams within Blue Owl, including Marketing, Client Solutions, Legal & Compliance, and Product Strategy, to ensure smooth coordination and execution to achieve business goals
Develop a deeper understanding of the private wealth and private markets competitive landscape in APAC and build strong product knowledge competencies in alternative assets and Blue Owl’s offerings to become a knowledgeable resource within the team
Knowledge of financial markets and investment acumen
Develop strong rapport and relationship with internal stakeholders and external clients to become a trusted partner
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant professional experience in banking/asset management (prior experience in private markets/alternative assets is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative, analytical, communication and presentation skills (CFA/CAIA/MBA a plus)
Fluent in spoken business Mandarin (written skills is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Highly driven, independent, proactive, meticulous, collaborative, goal-oriented team player and multi-tasker with strong work ethic, sense of ownership and accountability
Flexibility outside of regular working hours as a member of an international team and global organization
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this Singapore-based position will be SGD 155,000 to SGD 205,000 Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
