The Individual Markets Strategic Growth and Innovation organization is responsible for assessing and driving strategic opportunities and initiatives for the Individual Markets (IM) business related to profitable growth, technological innovation, customer experience, as well as product and services. As the Strategic Business Management Leader in this organization, you will work as part of a team to develop plans and roadmaps to execute and deliver on these critical initiatives. You will also be responsible for developing a compelling strategic narrative and high-quality materials for executive stakeholders (Board, GLT) to articulate and amplify IM strategic messaging and obtain support for growth.
You are

You will
- Apply strategic frameworks to identify issues and solve problems structurally and creatively.
- Develop concise and engaging presentations for leadership team updates
- Create strategic narrative and content for executive, CEO-level, and Board of Directors meetings
- Help design an agenda and materials for strategic offsite meetings with IM leadership
- Develop target letters outlining the business’s strategic priorities, goals and operating metrics
- Work collaboratively and build trust with team members across Guardian.
- Develop deep knowledge of Guardian’s Individual Markets business.
You have
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to influence while building trust and consensus among multiple partners/cross functional teams with competing interests.
- Experience managing complex projects and/or timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 6-8 years of experience working in strategy consulting, business management or operational experience.
- Prior experience working with financial services, particularly in the insurance industry
Salary Range:
$148,940.00 - $244,685.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
