Natixis Investment Managers Project Management Office is seeking a candidate with strong project management and communication skills. The individual will work closely across teams, running multiple, medium to large projects concurrently. The candidate may also assist teams from time to time with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring adherent to corporate policy. The candidate may occasionally perform certain functions within the Vendor Management Office (VMO) including vendor oversight tasks, as needed. This is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days/week in our Boston (Back Bay) office.
What You Will Do
- Partner with project leaders to define project scope, business requirements, dependencies, resources, critical deliverables, timelines and success criteria.
- Build detailed project plans and communicate milestones to key collaborators.
- Ensure all parties are on track with project requirements and resolve issues.
- Communicate change requests to inform partners of impacts to schedule and/or budget.
- Report on project status via regular project meetings and engage with executives periodically.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful elements and areas for improvement.
- Document business processes and suggest recommendations to increase efficiencies or decrease risk.
- Research and assess the competitive marketplace to help identify and/or select technical solutions and vendors.
- Participate in VMO tasks as needed including vendor onboarding, performance reviews and governance work.
- Assist with development of RFPs and completion of exception memos, as needed.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 years business experience in project management, preferably in financial services.
- Strong team building and meeting facilitation skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and consensus building skills.
- Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations to senior management.
- Adaptable, innovative problem-solver.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO, Project.
- PMP certification preferred or will need to complete within 1 year.
- Knowledge of Agile project management and Scrum framework preferred.
