As a Product Manager focusing on our Advisor products, you will play a pivotal role in the development and launch of our growth platform. The person in this role will act as a key point of connection across the business, including marketing, sales, operations, training and support. The Product Manager is ultimately accountable for the success of their product, from conception to launch and defining future iterations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product strategy: Develops the product's strategy, roadmap, and features, based on customer needs, competitive intelligence and market research
- Product vision: Defines the product's vision and ensures it delivers value to customers and the business
- Product development: Oversees the product development process, including coordinating with the development team, setting timelines, and ensuring the product meets requirements
- Go-to-market: Works in coordination with Sales and Marketing team to develop positioning and messaging to differentiate the product in the market. Determines the product's price by analyzing market research data, production and sales costs, and other factors.
- Product partnerships: Identifies and manages new and existing product partnerships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years’ work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of advisor technology platforms, including trading/rebalancing, CRM, and financial planning tools.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and projects in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Tempo, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
