As a key member of the US Finance team, the Sr. Financial Systems Consultant will support and maintain organizational systems by loading data, performing checks, and conducting reconciliations. This role involves assisting the Finance team during month-end close and forecasting processes, as well as maintaining reports across multiple hierarchy structures. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to data governance and controls, and participate in various projects as required to enhance financial operations.
You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Understanding and documenting requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
Leading and mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
