We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing daily accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and managing accounts payable duties from start to finish.
- Facilitate Expense Transactions: Interact with agents, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to record expense transactions, prepare disbursements, address inquiries, and resolve issues while maintaining internal controls.
- Ensure Ledger Accuracy: Verify and reconcile entries in ledger accounts, ensuring alignment between subsidiary ledgers and the general ledger.
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Selected Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-entity intercompany billing and month-end accounting cycles.
- Track assets, maintain depreciation schedules, and monitor pre-paid expenses.
- Produce ad-hoc reports and assist in quarterly True Up preparations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable processes, including vendor management and patient refunds.
- Audit and process credit card payments, maintain rent payment schedules and prepare annual vendor 1099s.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for improved processes.
Target candidates should bring 2+ years of accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
