Manage Company Stock Funds within the Systematic Equity Team on behalf of pension and defined contribution plans. Responsibilities include daily liquidity management as well as equity analytical research, fiduciary oversight and financial statement review.
Responsibilities include: We are looking for a new team member to join the Company Stock Investment Team within State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) in Boston. You will join a productive and collaborative team of investment professionals, managing Company Stock portfolios bringing market-leading solutions to our clients. The Company Stock Team manages $70 billion in mandates across a broad spectrum of over 80 clients.
You will manage Company Stock Funds for a group of clients as both an individual contributor and within a team setting. Rebalance stock funds daily and determine liquidity needs based on daily cash flows and trading shares of stock to maintain a determined cash liquidity range. Conduct quantitative and qualitative equity research on each client to maintain and report on the financial fundamentals of the company. Report performance, determine attribution of performance, review client portfolios to determine liquidity efficiency in the fund. Work closely with members of other internal teams to manage and support the client relationship. Implement policies and programs approved by management and the investment committee along with the investment guidelines for the fund. Assist team members with major accounts and funds through cross training of accounts, participate in Request for Proposal (“RFP”) development efforts. Generate detailed client reporting materials quarterly and annually.
Education and Experience requirement: A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in the Investment Management industry
Special Skills, Knowledge Or Certification/licensure Preferred For Position
Demonstrated analytical skills and acute attention to detail in managing investment portfolios; (REQUIRED) Experience with portfolio management, operations, IT departments and other internal groups as needed; Understanding of financial analysis along with markets and economic conditions; Understanding of credit markets and debt structures; Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with senior level client management; Experience using Bloomberg, FactSet and Refinitiv analytical and informational platforms; Strong time management skills to meet client requests and needs; Ability to work with team members in a collaborative environment; Travel up to 10%
Salary Range
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
