Job Description
- Establishes, maintains, and ensures execution of policies, directives, procedures, and other work instructions associated to procurement processes that provide synergy to a complex environment while driving overall efficiencies and improved compliance.
- Develops and ensures the execution of standards, controls and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the acquisition, management and reporting of spend across the firm.
- Ensures the allocation of resources is consistent with long-term business objectives.
- Develops effective partnerships with business unit management and other functions to develop and refine long-term strategies to ensure products and services meet changing business and marketplace conditions.
- Leads the development, implementation, and alignment of sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities for all products, services and strategic initiatives that complement and support key business objectives.
- Leads, either individually or with team members, sourcing initiatives ranging from $1M-$10M+ in annual spend from pre-RFP requirements definition through post purchase/implementation supplier performance reviews.
- Ensures the execution of all procurement strategies; including market and financial analyses, supplier management, contract management, strategic sourcing, standardized procurement tools (e-Procurement, e-Sourcing, spend analytics, contract management, and vendor management) and leading-edge reporting.
- Creates and communicates supplier metrics and/or scorecards which are linked to contractual business requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Established formalized supplier/vendor management practices and engages in periodic supplier performance reviews with management of strategic suppliers and the business stakeholders based on an understanding of the Total Cost of Ownership over the lifecycle of both products and services.
- Oversees all third-party supplier relationships tied to financial services regulatory requirements including documentation and systems for satisfactory audits.
- Assist in the tracking of Procurement performance to operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage the selection, retention, evaluation and development of key and diverse suppliers used to provide the goods and services needed by the firm.
- Performs human resource management activities, including interviewing and selecting staff; coaching and mentoring; identifying training needs; creating development plans; leading and evaluating the work of assigned staff to build and sustain a high performing team.
- Serve as interim leader in the absence of the Vice President of Procurement.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s: Business Administration
