Scope and Responsibilities
The Treasurer will be a key leader within the CFO’s Finance organization responsible for overseeing international treasury operations across all Corporate and Fund entities, including financial reporting, liquidity management, cash management, debt service, foreign exchange, cash flow modeling and forecasting, bank account and bank relationship management. The Treasurer will play a critical role in aligning financial strategies with the company’s objectives to ensure financial stability and growth.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Oversight of management company global cash management and investment, and strategic development and implementation of liquidity strategy.
- Establish and enable fund cash management investment options maximizing yield while minimizing risk.
- Global ownership of foreign currency risk management strategy; managing management company balance sheet and cash flow hedging activities including the identification of FX exposure, risk management instruments, and related reporting and analyses.
- Manage debt obligations and lender relationships, including negotiating credit facility amendments and maintenance of loan covenant compliance.
- Organize quarterly capital and risk management committee meetings presenting treasury related materials to executive leadership.
- Manage banking relationships to ensure global banking needs are sufficient to support the business.
- Preparation, review and maintenance of treasury SOX compliance. Enhance policies and procedures to ensure proper controls for cash receipts, disbursements and general treasury activities.
- Demonstrate leadership in streamlining treasury processes and procedures and related finance workstreams across the organization, while actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
- Understand the Oaktree business environment, including core drivers and cash needs, and ensuring treasury strategies are aligned to support business growth while minimizing risk.
- Manage all bank accounts including enabling services and controls, bank fee analysis, timely account setup, and maintenance of bank account referential data.
- Oversight and maintenance of payment processing capabilities including bank connectivity and validation of payment instructions.
- Oversight of a Treasury Management System implementation for both Corporate and Fund bank accounts.
- Identify and lead strategic initiatives aligned with CFO organization goals across finance teams.
- Collaborate on projects to enhance and automate treasury functions, partnering with IT and finance teams to implement new tools and systems.
- Maintain external relationships with Financial Institutions, business partners and others within the industry, collaborating to achieve business goals.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 14 years of experience, including 5+ years in the treasury function
- Financial Planning and Strategy experience preferred
- CTP preferred

Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, Finance or Accounting degree preferred, MBA or CFA preferred
Base Salary Range
$250,000-$275,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
