Job Description
You will be responsible for collaborating with an outstanding network of relationships with corporate and institutional clients that lie at the heart of our Investment Banking franchise. You’ll bring to our team deep experience identifying and developing new financing opportunities with existing clients, while exploring new business opportunities with new clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Originate, structure and execute complex and bespoke financing transactions;
- Development of new financing products that meets clients’ needs;
- Work with the broader Debt Capital Markets group to advise clients on integrated financial solutions;
- Building and maintaining relationships with investors as well as borrowers;
- Acting as centralized point person for structured financing transactions, involving partner teams as appropriate, and tracking market / precedent transactions
- Participating in business and company events to identify new business opportunities and pitch for new clients.
- Leading and/or participating in marketing and execution meetings with support of execution/product partners.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Eight years' work experience in an investment banking / trading / sales front office role
- Very strong structuring experience ideally in private ABS and non-vanilla financing transactions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
- Demonstrate creativity in solving problems. Always looking for new ways of doing things
- Entrepreneurial drive, adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modelling and valuation work)
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
- Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
- Excellent understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment
