Position Summary
OSAM is hiring a
Sr. Product Manager to join our Product Management Team. The position location could be Stamford, CT or New York City with a hybrid work schedule.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Product Management Team?
The team is responsible for the Canvas® Custom Indexing platform. The team focuses on building best in breed investment solutions, advisor tools and workflows for investment professionals.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Sr. Product Manager?
- Help drive the vision of the Canvas platform via the delivery of new products, features or investment tools.
- Assist in integrating new clients and prospects onto the investment platform.
- Build relationships with key home office employees to ensure the needs of their firm are met.
- Engage with OSAM’s back office, custodians, TAMP’s and other intermediaries to ensure scalable workflows.
- Develop specification documents for proposed product releases.
- Assist in building out connectivity to various counterparties and vendors.
- Engage with our client facing team to understand usage of the platform and potential innovations based on customer experience.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years’ experience in product management
- Experience in asset management or wealth management
- Excellent organizational skills along with strong written and oral communication skills
- Proactive worker with a high degree of drive to achieve results
Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. The salary, benefits and variable rewards will reflect the seniority of the position and a competitive market rate. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $180,000 - $220,000.
