About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Loan operation team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for the world’s largest alterative credit lenders. Citco’s total loan portfolio exceeds 100B, across a variety of asset and loan types including publicly traded bank debt, private syndications, middle market transactions, and commercial real estate. We provide shadow and direct loan agency.
About The Role
This is an analytical and multi-faceted role that requires the team member to be able to analyze and maintain a range of complex loan security types and lifecycle events in support of loan operations functions.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the oversight of a team of over 20 offshore full-time employees in executing the daily tasks associated with the full lifecycle of loan operations including but not limited to:
- Manage a client with an extensive portfolio comprised of various loan types, and all lifecycle activities associated therewith to properly maintain the client’s portfolio
- Provide daily oversight of a team of over 20 offshore analysts/associates/managers
- Ensure internal and externals deliverables are met timely and accurately
- Assist on the onboarding of new loans and/or portfolios including the setup and testing of additional workflows as needed
- Review loan agreements and complete term sheet abstract for onboarding to loan system
- Oversee and monitor the accurate processing of loan lifecycle activity including borrowings, repayments, and fees via notices and/or servicer data feeds
- Assist in the resolution of workflow exceptions including trade capture, lifecycle activity, cash transactions, and fees
- Maintain standard processes within a robust control environment, with an eye to continually improving or modifying the same to support the evolution of the client’s operational needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance processes
- Support and conduct training on standard processes of loan operations
- Client-facing for queries and loan support
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related subject with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in loan administration
- Product Knowledge: Bi-lateral Loans, Direct Lending, Whole Loans, Warehouse Lending, Structured Credit, Commercial and Industrial Loans, Middle Market Credit, Real Estate Loans, Asset Backed Credit
- Focused, accurate, and detail oriented
- Team-oriented; willingness to support and cross-train on all departmental functions
- Strong communication, both oral and in writing
- Self-starter, takes initiative
- Experienced in effective communication with external and internal customers; has experience interfacing with relationship managers, customers, and other related departments
- Minimum of 5 years of people management experience
- Experienced in maintaining a controlled environment and adhering to standard operating procedures
- Flexible and comfortable adapting to fluid operational requirements and deliverables
- Sentry PM a distinct advantage
Salary Range: USD 135,000 - 198,000
