As the Executive Director - Business Development Strategy Director in Chase Wealth Management (CWM) Business Development, you play a vital role in leading and executing initiatives to drive advisor development and productivity for current and future Advisors. You will also help influence stakeholders of Chase Wealth Management on initiatives that will impact the field to ensure effective roll out for our Advisors and Field Leaders. You must be a highly-motivated individual with the ability to deliver JPMWM initiatives effectively and cohesively. This role requires a focus on strong partnerships and influence with an ability to motivate advisors and all levels of field leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Working closely with Senior stakeholders to serve as the field subject matter expert to ensure a great client and advisor experience with high impact changes related to new field initiatives
- Drives content and partners with the Consumer Bank to help optimize One Chase business model
- Develop field workshops and help train-the-trainers (MD-Bs & MD-Ws) to deliver at scale
- Join Regional and Market (Consumer & Wealth) field meetings to provide insight and perspective around our Business Development strategy and approach
- Partnering with Consumer Bank and CWM leadership to develop, communicate and execute upon CWM growth strategies and initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills, comfort presenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders
- Proactive; takes initiative to identify solutions, has entrepreneurial business spirit and executes with a sense of urgency
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 10+ years direct financial services field management experience with a focus on wealth management
- Deep knowledge of how to motivate, communicate and develop an integrated banking & and branch- based advisor force
- Credibility with field management earned from experience in the wealth management business
- Strong knowledge of affluent clients’ financial needs and relevant advice / solutions
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to navigate a large, complex organization Intellectually curious, client first mindset, team-oriented, and high energy level with passion for driving quantifiable business results
- Team leadership and proven ability to attract, develop and retain top talent
- Experience anticipating and proactively addressing senior management concerns
- FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) is required
- Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, drive and able to operate in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel nationally and spend time “in the Field” (25% of time)

- BS/BA degree, MBA preferred.
