About The Team & Business Line
As a core member of our Loan Services team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for the worlds largest alterative credit lenders. Citco’s total loan portfolio exceeds $100B, across a variety of asset and loan types including publicly traded bank debt, private syndications, middle market transactions, and commercial real estate. We provide shadow and direct loan agency.
This is an analytical and multi-faceted role that requires the ability to analyze and maintain a range of complex bank loans and lifecycle events in support of loan administrative functions and documentation preparation.
Your Role
- Manage a syndicated and/or bilateral deal portfolio of complex high-paced facilities, including all activities associated in order to properly maintain client’s portfolio throughout the full life cycle of the loans
- Maintain Interest Calculators in Excel for complex deals
- Ability to read and abstract credit agreements
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Run client based calls with internal teams, and prepare agenda/minutes
- Oversee and monitor the accurate processing of new drawdowns, paydowns, and fees for syndicated and bilateral deals
- All past-due principal interest and fees are reported, followed up on, and ultimately collected
- Ensure all monies due and payable are collected and/or reconciled
- Coordinate funding requirements with the Treasury Desk; Support the Treasury Desk with its daily requirements to accurately manage its cash and funded positions
- Process Audit Confirmations and provide support to the off-shore team
- Full oversight of invoicing and remittance processing
- Create monthly reporting and analyze data for accuracy
Qualifications
- Must be focused and detail oriented
- Critical thinker and interpersonal skills a must
- Team-oriented; willingness to back-up and cross-train on all departmental functions
- Experience in effective communication with external and internal customers; has experience interfacing with clients, borrowers, and other related departments
- Experience in maintaining a controlled environment and adhering to standard operation procedures
- Flexible and comfortable with adapting to fluid operational requirements
- Excellent time management skills
- Four-year college degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Asset Management, Portfolio Management, and/or Servicing
- Sentry PM or Cassiopae a distinct advantage
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Power BI)
