About the Role:
The Key responsibilities for the role of Mid-Market Product/API Strategist include:
- Develop a deep understanding of our core product APIs, including GoSystem Tax, GoFileRoom, FirmFlow, and Sureprep.
- Educate and support the Mid-Market Sales organization on all API offerings and packages.
- Strategically position API solutions in new sales agreements to maximize value for clients and the company.
- Design and deliver training programs on automation services and utilities related to our APIs that will help the sales organization write API product orders properly.
- Collaborate with product teams to stay updated on API developments and communicate these updates to the sales team.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform API strategy and positioning.
- Develop and maintain documentation on API use cases, best practices, and integration strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and customer success.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a deep understanding of tax, audit, and accounting workflow processes
- Strong knowledge of the tax and accounting industry, including trends, challenges, and emerging technologies
- Experience with industry-specific products and solutions, such as tax preparation software, accounting systems, and audit tools
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and develop creative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop business cases and proposals to support new product development or partnerships
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
