Gen II Fund Services is looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage a variety of Enterprise level and client-facing projects and process improvement initiatives. This individual would be responsible for overall project management, establishing and implementing project management processes and adhering to Gen II’s program methodology to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, comply with high quality standards, and meet customer expectations. This role plans and carries out significant projects involving complex and highly visible initiatives to achieve stated business objectives. They can take on several different work streams at a given time. This role reports to the Global Head – Strategic Project Management Office.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for managing the implementation of large and complex programs that span one or multiple functions and/or systems.
- Collaborate with worldwide cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated and timely delivery of key objectives.
- Become a trusted advisor to leadership and organizational stakeholders while providing specific guidance, support, and strategies around implementation.
- Provide subject matter expertise, governance, data analysis and risk assessments to define how solutions will address business goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs to drive successful project outcomes.
- Exhibit strong initiative and ownership by proactively addressing issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables, driving projects to successful completion with minimal oversight.
- Provide comprehensive reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to various audiences, including the project team, business sponsors, and executive stakeholders.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Manage and utilize internal and external resources. Provides vendor/3rd party management and oversight.
- Interface with Business Unit Leaders and Finance to develop ROI, cost/benefit analysis/realization, and other financial measures.
- Manage stakeholders’ communication (project teams, leadership, vendors, clients, etc.)
- Adhere to program and project governance (controls).
- Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these PMO capabilities for the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten years of Project Management experience
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Project execution toolkit: analysis, scoping, requirements gathering, project execution, and change management.
- Experience in Global Financial Services is preferred.
- Experience in leading complex Information Technology projects is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field or “equivalent experience”
- Extensive experience with people management, strategic planning, and change management.
- Excellent communication skills including customers and executives.
- Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and strong team building skills.
- Excellent problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
- Self-motivated individual with a passion for working with people.
- Able to work well in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
The salary range for this position $110,000-$143,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement
