POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for various functions within the Senior Debt Operations Team. This entails tracking activity of investments across the Senior Debt business including tracking cash and purchasing power at different entities, leverage facilities and performing all aspects of the trade closing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare daily and monthly borrowing and leverage reports
- Prepare/Review daily ABL, CLO Lite, Line of Credit, and Warehouse reports for cash borrowing needs, repayments, and reporting input accuracy
- Train, develop, and serve as a resource for junior team members on daily inquiries and questions
- Anticipate upcoming business needs and communicate effectively with senior team members
- Contribute to the primary, secondary, and transfer closing processes
- Monitor cash needs and forecast trade fundings
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Treasury teams on wire set up, release, and documentation on wires
- Manage agency deals and lead lender transfer requests post close
- Work with the TresVista team in the reconciliation and trade closing processes
- Contribute to BMS/WSO system accuracy and items for daily processing
- Assist with the audit confirmation and AUP testing procedures
COMPETENCIES:
- Understanding of alternative investments and private debt, specifically leveraged loans
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Extremely motivated with the ability to monitor own workload to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related major; CFA or MBA a plus
- 6-10 years relevant professional experience
