The I/O Control Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of client data, contributing to seamless operations and client satisfaction. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The role is integral to maintaining the integrity of vote processing and audit workflows while supporting critical internal and client-driven requests.

This is a temporary contract position expected to last through June 1, 2025. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Monitoring: Review the "Management Alert" report and e-mails daily for “Must Be In” clients to ensure compliance with deadlines and priority tasks.
- Database Oversight: Monitor and maintain the Clerical Database to track and process incoming requests effectively.
- Vote Processing: Process scan vote requests received from Data Entry using MSTSC to connect Enterprise to the mainframe. Verify vote totals after updates are run and send results to the Vote Audit team for reconciliation.
- Client Service Coordination: Handle daily requests received from Client Services, ensuring timely completion and high-quality service delivery.
- Address and Name: Process name and address data for the Vote Audit department to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Adjourned Meetings: Manage adjourned meetings and vote recalculations. Transmit vote transmission files to various solicitors accurately and on time.
- Certified List Creation: Generate Certified Lists for the Transfer Agent (TA) Transtar Department following required protocols.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, such as Vote Audit, Client Services, and TA Transtar, to ensure streamlined operations and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Attention to Deadlines: Proactively monitor timelines to prioritize critical tasks effectively and provide consistent updates on progress.
- Overtime Commitment: Be available to work overtime and occasional weekends as required by business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail when verifying and reconciling data.
- Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume workflow.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage unexpected challenges seamlessly.
- Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism in all interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a corporate environment involving data entry, auditing, or vote processing.
- Familiarity with mainframe systems and MSTSC connections is a plus.
- Knowledge of vote transmission processes and industry-specific terminology is desirable.
Compensation range: $20.00 per hour
