Bayview Asset Management is seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance team as a Sr. Associate – Deal Operations – Deal Pipeline Management. The Sr. Associate will play a key role in managing the deal pipeline for multiple funds, serving as the Platform Manager for our CRM system (DealCloud), and driving the strategic vision for the DealCloud Deal Management Platform. The role focuses on enhancing and streamlining operational processes to improve efficiency and accuracy while maintaining consistency across reporting, reconciliation, and system updates. The individual will collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Trading, Portfolio Management, Transaction Management, and Finance teams.
The candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, and analytical skills and must be able to meet deadline requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as the Platform Manager for the CRM and pipeline management tool (DealCloud), ensuring optimal functionality, user access, and system enhancements.
- Project manage changes or enhancements to the platform, coordinating with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Support the deal pipeline management tool across multiple investment business units.
- Review transaction documents and investment committee materials to ensure key metrics are captured and quality-control final records.
- Prepare and distribute various reports and develop metrics on predefined key performance indicators.
- Perform data checks and maintain dashboards and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
- Enforce data quality standards and policies, ensuring teams adhere to data governance practices and keep their data up to date in the platform.
- Build and maintain process/workflow documentation for the platform and related operational processes.
- Monitor daily operational functions for various business units, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests across departments to meet organizational goals.
- Support firm-wide data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
- Provide training and support to platform users, monitoring usage and performance.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to interact effectively with professionals across the organization and external vendors.
- Proficient understanding of the investment lifecycle across complex credit and private equity; operational experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Power BI, Excel (pivot tables, macros), Word, and Outlook; experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus.
- Experience with deal management and/or CRM systems, particularly DealCloud, or other relational databases.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing platform enhancements and system changes.
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation using tools such as Excel or Power BI.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of assigned tasks.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Technical skills in process automation or systems improvements are a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy across platforms.
- Ability to build and maintain process/workflow documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
- Experience enforcing data quality standards with the ability to motivate teams to maintain data integrity.
LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
- This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) and will be based in either Bayview’s New York, NY or Coral Gables, FL offices.
- Base compensation is expected to be $100,000-140,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; experience in hedge fund, private equity, or hybrid asset management strongly preferred.
- 5 to 7+ years of relevant operational and technical experience in investment operations, platform management, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM systems (DealCloud) or other relational databases.
- Experience in project management, particularly in implementing system enhancements and process improvements.
