The Technical Product Manager in this role will lead the strategic vision and roadmap for a technical product with enterprise-wide reach, demonstrating a deep understanding of the product and representing it to both clients and stakeholders.
Corporate Systems' Enterprise Productivity & Enablement (EP&E) is seeking a Product Owner for a new opportunity! We are currently in the Beta phase of development on a product that will provide GenAI-based chatbot and virtual assistant capability to all Vanguard crew, and are looking for a Product Manager to drive strategy, own the roadmap, and liaise with technical and business teams to maximize product value. This is a chance to be part of a product team from the early stages of development and engage in the complete product lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product. Participate in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
- Coach technical product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
- Lead the planning, development and implementation of new technical products. Define and analyze technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and develop implementation plans.
- Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
- Participate in and provide recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
- Participate in the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum of five years related work experience.
- Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
- Stakeholder management, strategic thinking, prioritization skills
- Prior experience with driving the vision, strategy and roadmap for a new initiative.
- Operating in ambiguity, familiarity with Atlassian tools suite (Jira, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, etc.), familiarity with FLOW and PlanView Viz.
- Experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, specifically where that role regularly liaised with with both business and technical teams.
- Demonstrates strategic mindset, shows technical expertise, uses business insight, cultivates innovation, embraces change, and demonstrates tech savviness.
