Job Description
Linedata is seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our inside sales team. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact with prospective clients, responsible for generating and qualifying leads that align with our target customer profile. Your primary goal is to identify high-quality prospects and engage them effectively, setting up qualified meetings for our Sales Executives (SEs) to drive deals to closure.
This is a hybrid role, with a strong preference for candidates who can work part-time in our office for team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, contact, and qualify new potential customers through a mix of outbound calling, email outreach, social media, and other digital engagement methods.
- Initial Prospect Engagement: Introduce Linedata’s product offerings to potential clients, establishing an understanding of their needs and qualifying their fit within our target market.
- Hand-Off Process: Work closely with Sales Executives by scheduling meetings with qualified prospects, providing detailed notes and insights on each prospect’s needs to ensure a seamless transition.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Teams: Partner with sales and marketing teams on strategy, target lists, and campaign execution. Provide feedback to improve lead generation, targeting, and messaging.
- Pipeline Management: Accurately maintain records of interactions with prospects in our CRM, ensuring data integrity and visibility into the lead generation funnel.
- Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for lead generation and qualified hand-offs, reporting on progress and continuously adapting your outreach strategies.
Job Requirement
- Experience: 1-2 years in a business development, inside sales, or similar role, preferably within SaaS or fintech environments.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the aptitude to build rapport quickly over phone and email.
- Sales Skills: Excellent at identifying pain points, qualifying interest, and effectively setting the stage for a sales conversation with a Sales Executive.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, email automation, and sales engagement tools. Able to quickly learn and present technical product details.
- Goal-Oriented: Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, with a positive, results-driven attitude.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred.
