We're looking for an HR Onboarding Specialist to join our US HR team. This person will be part of the Global HR Operations team, assisting with onboarding new hires and providing additional support within the Operations team
The role involves working closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers, legal, and new hires. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create new employee records in our HR system upon notification from Recruiting
- Manage the background screenings from request to adjudication
- Communicate to new hires and hiring managers regarding status of onboarding
- Manage new hire documents and liaise with payroll and other teams to ensure proper onboarding of new hires
- Process I-9 verification processes for incoming hires
- Serve as point of contact for new hires during their first week and beyond
- Assist with HR Operations team responsibilities and ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- Financial Services experience and working within a global organization is preferred, but not required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proactive, problem-solver as well as taking ownership of initiatives and driving them forward
- Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are a prerequisite
- Comfortable juggling competing priorities and managing stakeholder expectations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and proactively contribute ideas, views and recommendations
- A professional and adaptable approach and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information using discretion
