Position Summary:
The Carlyle Group seeks to hire a 2-Year Analyst to support our fundraising and investor relations efforts. In this role, you will provide strategic sales support to our top-performing relationship management teams, who fundraise across all three of Carlyle's investment segments - Global Private Equity, Global Private Credit, and Investment Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a global investment firm, working alongside industry leading professionals. You will play a critical role in driving Carlyle's capital-raising success, supporting fundraising strategy, streamlining processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of investor outreach initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Market Intelligence and Fundraising Support
- Monitor and distribute key market updates, investor news, and industry insights to Relationship Management teams (daily news updates, RFP postings, etc.)
- Support fundraising initiatives by assisting Relationship Managers with ad hoc projects to optimize strategy and execution
- Liaise with Product Specialist teams to track investor inquiries, coordinate responses, and ensure timely follow-ups on requests
CRM (DealCloud) and Data Management
- Leverage data insights to drive strategic fundraising initiatives and relationship-building efforts
- Track and analyze Regional and Relationship Manager-specific fundraising pipelines from prospective investor stage through fund commitments
- Review and maintain external communication distribution lists and data room access for live fundraises
Limited Partner Engagement
- Conduct LP research and prospecting, gathering intelligence on investor preferences, mandates, and engagement history
- Create client specific presentations and marketing materials
- LP meeting coordination and tracking
Fund-Specific Projects
- Prepare detailed briefing materials for high-profile investor road-shows and meetings
- Conduct competitor / fund research
- Assist in executing high-profile fundraising campaigns that drive Carlyle's growth
Conferences and Events
- Develop target lists for major industry conferences to optimize Carlyle's outreach and presence
- Track event-related investor interactions, ensuring post-event follow-ups and data integration
- Provide logistical and research support for Carlyle's Global Investor Conference, ensuring smooth execution behind the scenes
Requirements:
Education & Certificates
- Bachelor's degree required
Professional Experience
- 0-2 years of prior experience in Investor Relations or Financial Services
- A passion for finance, sales, and relationship management in a high-energy environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking ownership of individual projects and initiatives

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
