A day in the life
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, EMS Strategic Capital to support our capital raising, project financing, and investor relations efforts for the Energy, Mobility, and Sustainability teams at Prologis. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial modeling, project debt and equity financing, and market research. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and renewable energy, driving impact through innovative financing structures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in structuring and executing project financing transactions, including debt, tax equity, and corporate financing solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar energy projects to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends in the renewable energy sector to support financing strategies.
- Support due diligence processes, including coordination with legal, technical, and financial advisors.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor capital markets developments and assess their impact on the company’s financing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams including project development, legal, and asset management to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Building blocks for success
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity, or a related capital markets role, preferably in renewable energy.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and structuring of debt and equity financing.
- Familiarity with tax equity financing, PPAs, and other renewable energy financing mechanisms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
Hiring Salary Range of: $137,000 - $200,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
