Position Overview:
As a member of the Cash/Equity Compensation team this position will assist in monitoring cash and equity contractual obligations for employees globally. Duties include contract review and interpretation; updating/coding of contractual details in the Jefferies PeopleSoft Contractual Obligations system; maintaining accurate and complete contractual documentation and records; and tracking contractual payment due dates to ensure timely processing within multiple payroll cycle deadlines for the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Will interact with various team members throughout the firm including HR business partners, Payroll and Finance.
Job Description:
- Review employee contractual documents and approvals for completeness. Follow up with HR for additional documentation and signatures as necessary.
- Update and code compensation details as per the contract terms in the Contractual Obligations system (salary and/or other fixed pay, bonus guarantees, signing bonuses, replacement cash, vesting cash, relocation bonuses/reimbursements, visa expense, etc.) including vesting, service period dates and future payment trigger dates.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy for all entries in the Contractual Obligations/stock administration system ensuring that the compensation data that flows through to the Firm’s various business reports and systems is valid and correct.
- Monitor the contractual payments due each payroll period and liaise with HR for confirmation of employee’s good standing and approval to process the contractual amounts.
- Assist with updating and monitoring relocation reimbursements and immigration related details.
- Ad hoc reporting and other special projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle HCM/PeopleSoft preferred.
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $80,000 - $90,000
