What You'll Do
The Stress Testing Aggregation and Reporting Manager for the US Region reports to Head of US Capital Stress Testing and Allowance for Credit Losses to ensure that stress testing processes and controls are executed in a timely manner.
How You'll Succeed
- Manage the execution of controls on a quarterly basis across all stress testing processes, compiling and storing all process and control related artifacts.
- Support the compiling of the documents for US Stress Testing Committee and its working groups and the US ACL Committee
- Manage the Stress Testing and Allowance for Credit Losses Assumptions, Limitations and Weaknesses templates and the documentation of overlays.
- Manage the development of stress testing review and challenge materials and all stress testing results, coordinating across stress testing development and execution teams Oversee stress testing and Allowance Credit Losses development initiatives.
- Support the Head of Stress Testing and Governance in managing and overseeing the various stress testing programs and initiatives
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in banking risk management, compliance or internal audit, preferably in risk analytics or related areas
- Experience in risk management with large US or foreign banking organizations preferred
- Excellent project oversight and leadership skills
- Superior time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Track record of successfully coordinate cross-function teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to effectively present information within and across team both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,
- Strong knowledge of US banking regulations, including Regulation YY
- Risk data and/or modeling, model risk management, IT experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Ability to work independently in areas of difficult or complex nature
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $112,000 - $123,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
