Position Overview
Apollo is seeking an individual to join the Client Portfolio Management & Innovation (CPMI) team to contribute to competitor intelligence and market insights efforts. As a part of the Client & Product Solutions division, CPMI is responsible for driving strategic and sustainable capital formation efforts via high-impact client engagement, innovative products and their adjacencies, as well as delivering intelligence & insights on current market developments and trends in private markets. The Individual will focus on conducting research, data analysis, database management, and reporting with the goal of keeping the organization updated on the latest insights and to help inform strategic and capital formation efforts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-depth research on private market trends, competitors, and products
- Create and present regular and detailed intelligence reports to communicate findings to relevant capital formation, product, and leadership teams
- Maintain a comprehensive database of competitor information, including investment portfolios, market shares, and fundraising activities
- Monitor, analyze, and synthesize capital market trends and industry developments for incorporation into broader forms of communication
- Manage and meet project deadlines effectively: juggling multiple assignments and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
- Work closely with investment, finance, and strategy teams to develop insights that strategic and capital formation efforts
Qualifications & Experience
- 6-10+ years of prior experience in an investor relations, product marketing & management, or financial writing role at a financial services firm, (e.g., asset management, wealth management or equity research)
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, investment strategies and trends
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis as well as proficiency in data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to multi-task and focus on delivering results
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively (with an energetic, enthusiastic, and personable attitude) in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
- Fluency in English
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: (Computer skills, Software knowledge, Equipment experience…)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Familiarity with Morningstar Direct, Preqin, Pitchbook or similar databases/systems
Pay Range
$175k - $235k

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
