The Corporate Strategy team at CAIS is a driving force behind business transformation, value creation, and scalable growth. Partnering with leadership, the team leads enterprise-wide initiatives, delivers actionable insights, and executes high-impact solutions from ideation to implementation. As a Corporate Strategy SVP, you will be a key architect of these efforts, working closely with senior leadership to define and execute strategic business priorities. This position requires a strong mix of analytical acumen, strategic vision, and leadership to identify market opportunities, drive organizational change, and create lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to define, assess, and implement firm-wide strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with CAIS’ long-term vision and business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth industry research, assess market trends, and develop strategic recommendations to inform CAIS’ priorities and positioning within the alternative investment and independent wealth management landscape.
- Structure and execute analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and potential investments, leveraging data to support executive decision-making.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments that align with CAIS’ long-term growth objectives.
- Lead financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration efforts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work across cross-functional business units, including Investment Management, Product Management, Technology, Sales, Operations, and Client Service to translate strategy into execution, driving measurable business impact.
- Collate and synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights and recommendations into compelling presentations for the executive team, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
- Promote a results-driven mindset, challenging teams to develop actionable solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm, corporate strategy, or investment banking with significant exposure to M&A transactions. Experience within alternative investments, platform solutions, or large-scale transformations strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Highly specialized understanding of Alternative Investment accounting and operations.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, market analysis, and business transformation within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) with strong financial modeling and presentation skills.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $195,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
