About The Team
Loomis Sayles is committed to the continual improvement of our performance, processes and people. As part of this commitment, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and passionate candidate, eager to contribute to our continued success through the following employment opportunity:
The Loomis Sayles Global Emerging Markets Equity team invests in high quality or transitioning quality companies in Emerging Markets with at least a five-year view where we have unique insights that lead us to have earnings estimates materially higher than market or consensus expectations. We invest in public companies like private equity investors and perform deep, bottom-up, fundamental diligence on the company and the industry. We invest as long-term owners of companies. Our long portfolio is a high conviction, concentrated, low name turnover, benchmark agnostic portfolio.
On the short side, we short low-quality companies in Emerging Markets with a shorter-term view, 3-12 months, where we have unique insights that cause our near-term earnings estimates to be significantly lower than market or consensus estimates.
The EM equities analyst will perform in-depth, rigorous, fundamental and structural research & analysis on companies and industries in Emerging Markets.
