Job Summary
The Chief of Staff will serve as an advisor and operational partner to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the company’s strategic priorities. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role demanding exceptional judgment, initiative, and a relentless focus on execution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, a trusted confidante, and a driving force behind the company’s continued success.
Responsibilities
Strategic Execution:
- Partner with the CEO to define, prioritize, and execute key strategic initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, track progress, and ensure timely completion of critical milestones.
- Drive alignment across departments to ensure cohesive execution of strategic objectives.
- Work with private equity sponsor and Allvue Board to manage key priorities and deliverables.
CEO Enablement
- Act as a sounding board and strategic thought partner for the CEO.
- Prepare the CEO for meetings, presentations, and other engagements, including developing briefing materials and talking points.
- Drive the company’s operating rhythm, ensuring executive team meetings, strategic planning sessions, and board meetings are structured and impactful.
- Filter, deflect and prioritize information flow to the CEO, ensuring they are focused on the most critical issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, breaking down silos and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Help manage delivery of cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Serve as a proxy for the CEO in internal and external meetings as required.
Special Projects And Initiatives
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, including due diligence, market research, and strategic planning.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and present recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
Information Management
- Ensure the CEO is well informed on all pertinent company information.
- Create and maintain reporting structures to display company metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Relevant experience in technology, financial services and/or Alternative Investments is preferred.
- Prior experience in a Chief of Staff role is highly preferred.
- Experience in a private equity-backed company or software industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
