What you’ll be doing
You will work closely with partners across the various lines of business, Marketing, various agencies and vendors to deliver marketing programs that drive our brand and our business forward.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site at 120 S. LaSalle, while other days will be remote.
How you’ll succeed
Brand Marketing – Champion brand marketing and contribute to planning, development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns supporting the CIBC brand, key strategic pillars, and CIBC’s digital innovations while ensuring CIBC Brand and Marketing KPI’s are met.
Ensure effective project management including planning, briefing, execution and measurement of key initiatives. Showcase your experience and ability to develop and lead the marketing. processes from brief writing through to execution and reporting across multi-channel campaigns.
Work with business partners (internal/external) to execute against approved strategy and implement measures for success.
Leadership – Provide leadership on the Brand team, influencing both internal and external partners as you deliver Mass Brand Campaigns & strategic work. You will help foster employee commitment to the organization, championing CIBC’s mission, vision and values.
Manage internal approval processes on programs and campaigns.
Ensure initiatives deliver against plan objectives, are aligned to strategic priorities and support key marketing principles.
Maintain internal cross functional relationships.
Engage with third party suppliers and agency partners.
Manage related budget reporting for assigned initiatives.
Co-ordinate tracking results and conducting post campaign analysis with other departments such as research stakeholders.
Ensure on-going communication and manage on-going weekly status updates on all aspects of assigned projects and responsibilities owned.
Proactively identify new and effective ways to maximize brand potential and ROI.
Build and develop relationships with the key stakeholder contacts to become a true trusted business partner.

Who you are:
You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience in marketing. It’s an asset if you come with a College Business/Marketing degree.
You have experience working in the US marketplace and implementing brand strategies in this region.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $135,000-$160,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
