Rockefeller Capital Management is seeking an Institutional & Intermediary Sales Lead client facing in the Americas, with 7-10+ years’ experience and proven track record raising cross-asset and cross-channel located on the West coast with ability for remote work. This is an opportunity to make a substantial contribution at a rapidly expanding asset management firm with a longstanding history of investing in equities, fixed income, thematic solutions, and alternative assets. RAM encourages a collaborative culture, partnering across the sales team and with marketing, portfolio management, and leadership to drive flows and engagement.
Responsibilities The individual will be responsible for sourcing, pursuing and developing new Investors for Rockefeller Asset Management focused on West Coast prospects and clients. This individual has cross-channel coverage across RIAs, SFO/MFOs, select wirehouses and institutional allocators. This position will be responsible for:
- Meeting target AUM and revenues objectives set forth by RAM’s management team
- Selling and servicing wealth and institutional prospects and clients in the designated region
- Building a strategy, pipeline, and winning net new business in their territory across long-only equity, fixed income, and alternative strategies.
- Establishing relationships across channels that can serve as seed or early capital for new strategies across a range of asset classes.
- Represent credibly and effectively Rockefeller Asset Management’s investment capabilities, including but not limited to differentiation from competitors, understanding of how strategies fit into investors’ portfolio construction.
- Work closely with RAM’s marketing and investment teams to develop collateral material and communication focused on education, product positioning and selling.
- Provide strong client relationship management services to existing RAM clients (supported by Head of Client Service).
- Consistently evaluate product platform and consider / execute on opportunities for new strategy launches aligning vehicle with end-investor demand.
Qualifications- At least 7-10 years of experience in the industry engaging responsibilities and a track record of revenue and asset raising success.
- Experience with a high-quality institution serving wealth and institutional marketplace.
- Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree and possibly an MBA, other graduate degree, or CFA
- Registered representative: FINRA Series 7 & 63 is a plus
Skills - Investment product technical competency & intellectual credibility – experience in selling and marketing a range of investment solutions across equities, fixed income and alts is preferred.

- Ability to develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with institutional clients and consultants. Highly responsive to client needs and interests, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency related to their inquiries and requests.

Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $170,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
