Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CRE Transactional Attorney to join our dynamic legal group. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential transactional support for our commercial real estate and finance deal teams, with a primary focus on commercial real estate debt and equity transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in real estate law, complemented by a proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions. Your expertise will be critical in navigating the intricacies of commercial real estate, ensuring compliance, and driving forward our strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Provide transactional support for commercial real estate and finance deal teams, focusing on commercial real estate debt and equity
Support the CMBS team in reviewing structured products deal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
Interact with outside counsel and oversee transactions, ensuring efficiency and adherence to legal standards
Manage various legal and regulatory issues associated with transactions, particularly those related to the expansion of PIMCO’s business model
Work on other legal projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the legal group
Collaborate effectively with Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance, and Product Management teams to align legal strategies with business objectives
Engage with outside legal counsel and other service providers to facilitate seamless transactions and mitigate risks
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience at a leading law firm or equivalent experience in a relevant legal environment
Experience in the commercial real estate and/or investment management industry is highly desirable
Comprehensive knowledge of various real estate and lending documents, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively
Preferred experience in commercial loan originations, acquisitions, and dispositions; joint ventures; investment management and real estate-related regulatory and compliance matters; private equity funds and registered funds

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 265,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
