We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive leader to oversee our global billing operations. The successful candidate will manage the billing process, ensure accurate and timely invoicing across multiple regions, and maintain strong relationships with clients worldwide to address any billing inquiries or issues. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can leverage your expertise in billing and finance to drive operational excellence on a global scale.
We’ll trust you to:
- Manage global billing operations and ensure the timely, accurate generation of client invoices across multiple regions.
- Design, implement, and enforce standardized billing policies and procedures globally.
- Resolve client billing inquiries and disputes, with a particular focus on international clients.
- Collaborate with regional offices and internal teams to optimize billing processes and improve efficiency.
- Deliver regular billing performance reports and insights to senior management.
- Lead and mentor billing staff across locations to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and international regulatory requirements related to billing and invoicing.
You’ll need to have:
- At least 10 years of experience in billing, finance, or accounting, with 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing teams.
- Expertise in billing software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of international billing practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead billing operations at a global scale.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse global stakeholders effectively.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $100,000 – 150,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
