Lazard Financial Advisory Business Technology (FABT) is responsible for all applications that enable the Financial Advisory Division. This includes support of all aspects of the annual business lifecycle, client lifecycle, and deal management processes including CRM, Knowledge Management, Revenue Reporting, and Resource Planning.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the Financial Advisory Business Technology (FABT) Organization. You will be acting as liaison and bridging the gap communication and understanding between the business and FABT, ensuring alignment and fostering strong relationships.
We’ll trust you to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners acting as the primary technology contact to advocate for client needs, challenges, and align priorities across teams.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions by translating business needs into functional specifications, system designs, use cases, and technical solutions to guide development efforts.
- Analyze workflows, recommend solutions, and document processes to improve operational efficiency, address deficiencies, and enhance data quality and system performance.
- Manage project timelines, document test plans, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure timely and successful delivery of high-value solutions.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and collaborative discussions to foster communication, enhance client operating models, and strengthen relationships through value-driven solutions.
- Explore ways to integrate emerging technologies and strategies to optimize business operations and enhance client satisfaction.
You’ll need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Relationship Manager within technology or financial services; strong leadership skills to align teams and solve client challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), analytical expertise, and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities to confidently engage with business experts, present to clients, and build trusting relationships.
- Proven ability to coordinate and work cross functionally across disciplines, build consensus, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately 150,000-175,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
