Role Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Product Management directs and coordinates product enhancement activities and the licensing and protection of the CUSIP Global Services (CGS) content to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain competitive position using a deep understanding of the securities transactions industry. You are responsible for product delivery, pre- and post-sale client onboarding and implementation. Providing timely, high value research and aggregate security and entity market intelligence to improve the effectiveness of new products and services. You will work closely with CGS Leadership team, Technology, Licensing, Commercial and Operations to help expand CGS’ presence globally by developing new product strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver innovative methods to enhance CGS capabilities and manage client adoption efforts for a given CGS license, product, or service.
- Applies expertise to develop new product features and successfully support client adoption in both the pre- and post-sale environment.
- Provide technical product expertise on key industry, market and regulatory drivers shaping the financial services industry, with a specific focus on the instrument and entity identifier landscape.
- Conduct sales force product trainings. Deliver post-sales implementation training to support client transition/onboarding.
- Collect, synthesize, and publish feedback to the commercial organization from banks, asset managers, custodians, broker dealers, insurance companies, regulatory and government agencies, and third parties.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a comprehensive outreach program with key clients. Works with clients and prospects in conjunction with the commercial organization on qualified opportunities to highlight CGS’ unique capabilities.
- Ensure product collateral reflects CGS’s target markets & current value proposition. Create up-to-date collateral including online sales tool kits, customer-facing presentations, release notes, and capturing relevant usage metrics for CGS’s products.
- Provide insight into best practices and speak to how CUSIP Global Services products can efficiently be leveraged across middle and back-office systems to help our client’s workflow operate seamlessly.
- Spend time engaging with standards setting bodies and Industry working groups focusing on financial reference data standards impacting CGS
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
- 5 + years of experience in Financial Services or a Financial Technology organization working with global enterprise clients in a client facing role, including sales, customer success, implementation, or support
- Understanding of back and middle office operations
- Experience working with securities reference data
- Experience with MS Excel, statistical packages, data query tools; basic understanding of all other MS office products.
Desired Skills:
- Degree in Finance or advanced degree
- FactSet and/or CUSIP product knowledge
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (2 days a week) from an office in NYC or Norwalk, CT
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $104,000 - $130,000.
