Position Overview:
Voya is seeking an innovative and strategic Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead our financial planning efforts within our Wealth Solutions/ Retirement business. This executive will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our organization and ensuring we meet our business objectives through effective financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in forecasting, expense management, and management reporting processes, as well as retirement business knowledge; and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial planning processes that align with the strategic objectives of the Wealth Solutions and Retirement business.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning efforts to support business growth and profitability.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze business performance metrics and financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company goals and targets.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with President, Wealth Solutions and business leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Wealth Solutions and Retirement teams, providing financial expertise and guidance on product development, pricing strategies, and market analysis.
Financial Oversight:
- Assess and evaluate opportunities within the Wealth Solutions and Retirement space, ensuring alignment with risk management and compliance standards.
- Monitor changes in the industry, financial markets, and regulatory environment to advise on adjusting strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote professional development and skill enhancement within the team to ensure excellence in financial planning and analysis.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analysis for internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies regarding financial reporting and analysis.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management and retirement solutions.
- Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and business partnership in a senior management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and development, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and various financial analysis tools and software. (Oracle preferred)

The ability to simplify complex financial information and convey it effectively is critical for influencing decision-making.
- Business Acumen in Wealth Solutions and Retirement: A deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management and retirement planning, is essential. The candidate should be well-versed in the regulatory environment, market dynamics, and client needs to provide relevant financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$230,490 - $288,110 USD
