The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
Independently performing financial analysis and research on various companies in the Technology Industry as part of the team’s prospecting efforts to evaluate the potential fit of these companies with the MUFG platform. Independently performing detailed capital structure analysis for clients to help advise clients on how to most efficiently refinance existing debt or raise new debt (or equity). Working with senior bankers to create an overall relationship strategy and account plan for each client (and key prospect). Analyzing the overall performance of MUFG’s Technology portfolio by monitoring key metrics such as the overall revenue, operating income, portfolio ROE, loan to deposit ratio, and credit charges; and helping prepare quarterly presentations on this data for executive management. Leading internal deal screening discussions and direct client management responsibilities (deal execution, documentation, speaking roles at meetings, etc.).
Qualifications – External
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (or foreign equivalent degree).
Experience: 5 years of corporate and investment banking experience covering companies in the technology sector; performing financial statement analysis (10K & 10Q); creating company forecast models in Excel; analyzing credit agreements, and drafting term sheets; and 3 years of experience must include core corporate banking products and services including debt, hedging products, cash management, and working capital solutions.
Licensure: FINRA SIE, Series 79 (including 79 TO), and Series 63 licenses are required.
Travel: Position requires domestic travel 10% of the time to attend client meetings across the U.S. and internal meetings in NYC.
Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.
Wage: $171,454 to $243,000 U.S. dollars per year
