We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Private Equity Technology to lead our efforts in identifying, evaluating, and integrating technology-driven investment opportunities. This role will work closely with investment teams to understand strategic objectives, assess technological trends, and translate these into actionable investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of experience in managing large-scale technology projects and leading cross-functional teams, a deep understanding of technology's role in enhancing business value, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification and evaluation of technology-driven investment opportunities within the private equity portfolio.
- Collaborate with investment teams to understand business and strategic objectives and identify technology solutions that can drive value creation.
- Oversee the execution of technology investment projects, ensuring they meet objectives on time, within budget, and with high ROI.
- Manage risks associated with technology investments and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive innovation.
- Experience in managing large-scale technology projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven extensive experience in building technology solutions with developers across the globe private equity with a strong track record of technology-driven investments or managing investments in technology companies.
- Strong understanding of the private equity investment process and financial modeling.
- Experience in evaluating and managing investments in technology companies or portfolios with a technology focus.
- Proven track record in working effectively with the India team, demonstrating strong collaboration and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in the finance sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple high-priority initiatives.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in cloud computing, SaaS business models, and modern technology stacks.
- Knowledge of private equity deal structuring, risk management, and portfolio company oversight.
- Strong experience with agile investment methodologies or fast-paced decision-making processes.
