JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as the "go-to" expert for risk platform support, providing knowledge and assistance to strategy teams and other Risk Team members in the following areas:
- Risk Dashboards
- Performance Attribution
- Scenario Analysis
- Risk Exposure Concentrations, at strategy and firm levels
- Model Updates
- Liquidity and Transaction Cost Estimates/Swing Factors
- Conduct daily verification of the quality and consistency of single security analytics, both produced by third-party vendors or internally maintained.
- Provide transition expertise for new account setups, account changes, and index changes within the risk platform.
- Manage open issues and risk systems support with third-party risk system vendors and build rapport with high-contact vendors.
- Ensure timely and consistent generation and interpretation of regulatory reports, while adapting to regulatory changes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- In-depth understanding of performance attribution.
- Skilled in security assumptions and data checks.
- Well-versed in liquidity models and the building blocks of liquidity determinations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Aladdin, including multiple interfaces (Explore/PRT/GP/Anser).
- Up to 3 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a related field (internships and coursework can count towards experience).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- CFA or a willingness to pursue the CFA is required
